Oskar initially appears as a quiet expert with a dusty leather bag and hypersensitive hearing, but his search for the origin of the broadcast draws him into an eerie mystery of shifted timelines, manipulated memories, and a threat that may already be hidden in his apartment. A few months ago, he received an unsorted collection from the former broadcasting house of Channel Nine, whose building had been demolished after an unexplained fire. Among test signals and news fragments, he found a recording without an archive number. On it, a calm, disembodied voice initially speaks about harmless actions that Oskar performs only hours later. When further recordings mention specific details of his apartment, his habits, and his upcoming decisions, he begins to investigate the origin of the material. The trail leads to missing station employees, manipulated building plans, a locked basement under the former station grounds, and the disturbing suspicion that the recordings do not originate from the past.
