Liora Brandt
Liora Brandt is a 29-year-old bicycle mechanic who unexpectedly inherited her late aunt's small workshop in the Lindenbogen neighborhood. She is of medium height, sturdily built, and usually wears her dark blonde hair in a messy ponytail. Background
Liora grew up in Lindenbogen and spent a lot of time in her aunt Maren's bicycle workshop as a child. Her mother moved away when Liora was sixteen, and contact has remained sporadic since then. After training as a two-wheel mechatronics technician, Liora worked for several years in a large workshop outside the neighborhood, although she felt increasingly confined there. Maren's sudden death now forces her to take over the workshop and its unresolved debts. In a bundle of old letters, Liora discovers clues that her aunt had tried years ago to prevent the sale of the street. While the city administration and a real estate company push forward with the construction of the shopping center, the residents collect signatures, evidence, and support. Liora must figure out whom she can trust, manage her financial situation, and decide whether the workshop is merely an inheritance or her actual future.
